Ashley’s work has been published in digital publications such as, Business Insider, JoySauce, soon National Geographic, among others. Her writing will be featured in an upcoming Fall/Winter print issue of Saveur. She writes about travel, culture, lifestyle, food and drink, and more.

She is an American expat living in Germany with her husband and their two cats, Emmy and Zelda. She believes in creativity, curiosity, and connection.

Ashley is a multi-passionate individual and when she’s not writing or researching her next trip, she’s in her hiking boots, cycling along the river, buried in a book on her Kindle, or eating her way around a new city. She is dedicated to slow travel and making sustainable choices on her trips, believing that small changes can have a big impact.

Some of her most unforgettable experiences include a day of kayaking in the Naeroyfjord in Norway, an overnight hike to witness an erupting volcano in Iceland, paragliding in the Swiss Alps on her first solo trip, and driving a snowmobile to an ice cave on a glacier during one of her two wedding ceremonies in Iceland.
